Lyceum Youth Orchestras at American Heritage School is one of the most comprehensive and highly awarded youth music programs in the nation. With a focus on faith, patriotism, and excellence, our students learn to LOVE music MORE through musical service, meaningful media, and inspiring events.
We serve more than 400 students, ages 6–18, across 10 ensembles on two campuses. From basic music readers to high school virtuosos, all are welcome to apply.

July 14-19, 2025 featuring iconic horn soloist James Thatcher, with over 291 movie score credits. Get the behind-the-scenes scoop as we bring to life music from Jurassic Park, Indiana Jones, Hook, La La Land, and more! American Heritage School
American Heritage School is a faith-based private school with a focus on character education. It has recently opened a downtown Salt Lake campus and has developed comprehensive homeschool curriculums and accredited online study options. AHS is the largest private school in Utah with over 1100 students K-12 on its 40-acre American Fork campus in addition to over 100 students at its new Salt Lake City campus and thousands participating online. Since 2008, American Heritage School has sponsored the Lyceum Youth Orchestras to provide world-class music instruction to its students and as a community outreach.
